Some Good Holiday Recipes....

So another favorite part of the holidays for me is all the delicious food....And me being a chef I love to cook....So here are some recipes that I have found that I hope all of you will like and might try for this holiday season! :)



Holiday Ribbon Bowl:

2 hr 30 min
Makes:
8 servings, 1/2 cup each   
 
What You Need!
  • 2-1/4 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 pkg.  (3 oz.) JELL-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 pkg.  (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.), divided  
Make It!

  • ADD 3/4 cup boiling water to lime gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice; stir until gelatin is slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Pour into 1- to 1-1/2-qt. serving bowl. Refrigerate 15 min. or until set.
  • STIR remaining boiling water into strawberry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add 2/3 of COOL WHIP; stir with whisk until COOL WHIP is melted and mixture is well blended. Refrigerate remaining COOL WHIP for later use. Carefully spoon strawberry gelatin mixture over lime layer.
  • REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until set. Top with remaining COOL WHIP just before serving.

Cream Cheese-Bacon Crescents:

 What You Need!
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) Philadelphia Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
  • 3 slices  OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled
  • 2 cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls   
Make It!
  • HEAT oven to 375ºF.
  • MIX cream cheese spread and bacon until well blended.
  • SEPARATE each can of dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise in half. Spread each dough triangle with 1 generous tsp. cream cheese mixture. Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle; place, point-sides down, on baking sheet.
  • BAKE 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Roasted Pork:

10 min
Total Time:
2 hr 5 min
Makes: 8 servings 
 
 
What You Need!
  • 1 boneless pork roast (3 lb.)
  • 3/4 cup  KRAFT CATALINA Dressing, divided
  • 4 medium each: potatoes, beets, onions and carrots, quartered 
 Make It! 
  • PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Place pork in large lightly greased roasting pan; brush with 1/2 cup of the dressing.
  • PLACE vegetables in large bowl. Add remaining 1/4 cup dressing; toss to coat. Add potatoes and beets to pork in pan. Bake 15 min. Remove pan from oven.
  • ADD onions and carrots to ingredients in pan. Bake 1-1/2 hours or until pork is cooked through (160°F), basting occasionally with the pan juices. Let stand 10 min. before cutting pork into slices. Serve with the vegetables.
